Usage: dbamon_drain

Purpose: Causes a GRACEFUL SHUTDOWN of all occurances of dbamon running in daemon (background) or foreground mode at the end of the current DBAmon iteration. This is preferable to running dbamon_stop which KILLS all dbamon processes.

Run From: Command line

This command will stop all running dbamon processes at the end of the current DBAmon iteration. You would use this command after making configuration changes to stop DBAmon. Then, if you have dbamon_checker configured in cron to automatically run every 5 minutes, then next time that it runs it will find dbamon not running and automatically start it.
