Usage: dbamon_stop

Purpose: Kills all occurances of dbamon running in daemon (background) or foreground mode, immediately. Note that this could cause issues for consecutive iteration event suppression, so it is preferable to use dbamon_drain.

Run From: Command line

This command will kill all running dbamon processes. You would use this command after making configuration changes to stop DBAmon. Then, if you have dbamon_checker configured in cron to automatically run every 5 minutes, then next time that it runs it will find dbamon not running and automatically start it.
