Event Inhibit - By Event, Dow, Hour

It is possible to prevent the creation of certain DBAmon events during certain days of the week and hours of the day.

To do this, create a file called /opt/dbamon/adm/inhibit/Event_DOW_Hour.txt .

In this file specify the DBAmon Event ID, Day of the week and hour of the day that you want to inhibit this type of event. For example, if you want to inhibit event DBA652U on Fridays during the 10 o'clock hour, then enter this into the file (starting in column 1): 

Event=DBA652U DOW=Fri Hour=10
If you want to inhibit this event for an additional hour, the enter another line.
